Our Mission Statement

Support Romania Ministries exists to uplift and transform Romania’s communities through a comprehensive service and care approach.

We actively seek, educate, and connect with donors both in the US and internationally.

Our goal is to strengthen and optimize all our five ministry branches, ensuring that each functions at its best to meet the needs of the Romanian people. We believe we can make a significant and lasting impact through collaborative efforts and dedicated support.

Our mission encompasses five key ministry branches

Each tailored to address specific needs within the Romanian community:

1. Financial Relief
2. Orphan Ministries
3. Pastoral Ministries
4. Missionary Support
5. Support for Victims of Abuse

Support for the orphans:

By fostering meaningful relationships and mentorships with children in orphanages across Romania, we aim to create enduring bonds of care and community. Children have the valuable opportunity to participate in summer camps and church-related community events, all made possible by the generous donations received through SRM. Even after they graduate and integrate into society, the mentors and families they’ve connected with during their time at the orphanage continue to serve as lifelong friends and supportive members of their extended community.

Report from missionary/pastor MN:

By God’s grace, GOSPEL PREACHING is the most meaningful ministry I am involved in for the expansion of God’s Kingdom. In addition to our basic ministry in the neighboring villages close to my hometown, I had the chance to preach in other churches where I had been invited to serve as a guest speaker at special events. We rejoice and bless the Lord for the wonderful way He works and uses our family. The ministry in which we are involved sometimes adapts to the conditions we have and the needs we encounter and can fulfill. A nearby village is a place where we focus our attention because a small home church was planted here several years ago. We meet in the small home of a family and reach that place on a dirt road through the fields. During winter or rainy weather, the trip becomes a real challenge. But the family where we gather always awaits us with joy. The grandparents are helping raise their granddaughter. Their married daughter has three more children and she is grateful for her parents’ help. There were times of joy and times of trials but the Lord has always been on our side and helped us to overcome any difficulties and succeed in all things.
With God’s help, I continue to be involved in the prison ministry at the nearby penitentiary. The poetry collection published in a booklet, consisting of Christian poems authored by several inmates was very well received among the inmates population. Initially, I had intended to print all poems in a small booklet and make it available only to the inmates who had written those poems.
However, the good Lord had another plan. A copy of this booklet also reached the desk of the prison commander and he enjoyed the initiative.
The joy of those who wrote the poems was boundless. Many have been transformed by the Word but also by our witness during our regular prison ministry visits; there are visible changes in many people’s lives. I was given the chance to give a testimony about this ministry at the Radio Voice of the Gospel station in the city of Suceava, especially with regard to the Christian poetry book authored by several inmates. The testimony had quite an impact on the radio listeners and a Christian believer in that town indicated that he would like to contribute to cover expenses to publish a second edition of this poetry book, so more copies would be available.
We are currently working on a project by which a small number of inmates would occasionally be allowed to come and attend certain major church services. Several years ago we were able to receive permission from the penitentiary management and a group of several inmates were permitted to come and attend a church service in the local church. This is a special prayer request.
For several years in a row, our family has also been involved in a ministry to the homeless. My wife has been preparing warm meals and we brought and distributed them to people who live in the streets. We have been using this opportunity to tell them about God’s love, His care, and patience for sinners to turn their lives and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Because of financial difficulties, we had to temporarily discontinue this ministry, but we pray and hope that the Lord will enable us and send help, so we can resume our work with the homeless.
A new project in which my family has been involved is sharing our testimonies, reciting Christian poems, and devotional meditations, on Radio Voice of the Gospel station in the city of Suceava. Here we had the opportunity to tell how we accepted Christ and also share important aspects of our ministry over the years all has been well received and it has encouraged the radio listeners. Every week I have a chance to recite Christian poems and there are also meditations written by my wife, on a special radio program. We are glad to be able to serve the Body of Christ in this way. Any gift the Lord has placed in us has to be used for His glory. Every month, we are also actively involved in a podcast produced for the blind, with recorded material from the Bible. These materials are of great help to people who do not have easy access to read books. The messages received from several listeners with such visual impairments are a great encouragement to both me and my wife.

When we have the financial resources, we get involved in taking a package of food to poor families in nearby villages. Some people found out about the poverty in our ministry area and sometimes they also get involved and help financially. This way, we can get food to poor families with young children, elderly, and widows. They have many needs and we are often limited. But as much as we can, we have been involved in providing necessary medicine, food, clothing, and shoes.
Not long ago I also had the chance to preach at a wedding service in the church of Sararei. The local congregation does not have a pastor and I had the pleasant opportunity to serve at the wedding ceremony there. It was another special opportunity to preach the Good News of the Gospel to many nonbelieving people in attendance. We believe that God’s Spirit will work salvation in the lives of those who listened to His Word preached.

Prayer is essential in each ministry for the glory of God. Without prayer, all efforts of a spiritual nature are futile. We need your prayer support. We rejoice each time our good Lord works and we see results in our pastoral ministry; it is an occasion of joy and encouragement for me and my family.

Please pray for the pastoral and evangelistic ministry in Romania in which we are involved, as a family. We want to continue to be useful for the expansion of the Kingdom of God. Please pray for our reaching many through the relief work. There are very many poor people in this area, families with many children, widows, lonely elderly people, etc. Through the kindness and generosity of other people, we can occasionally offer them food and medicine. A package of food, medicine, clothing, and shoes for children are things that can help us approach people and share with them our faith in God. These are tools by which we can show those in need that Jesus Christ loves them.
We continue to pray for the ministry to the homeless. Financially, we can no longer prepare a meal for 15-20 people as we used to do in the past. However, we can consider helping 2-3 homeless people when we have the resources. Homeless people need Christ and this is how we can talk to them about God’s love and their need for redemption and salvation.

We would also like to take a short mission trip to Ukraine; there are several nearby villages across the Northern border of Ukraine, with a large Romanian-speaking population. It would be great to reach those people through an evangelistic event there, especially refugees who have moved there, coming from the war-affected zones. Any financial help would make a great difference. We do not have the necessary funds but we hope that the Lord will send help so we can reach them.
Please pray for the prison ministry. I pray and trust that it will be possible to bring a group of 12-15 inmates to participate in a church service, under certain conditions that we have been notified. This is not the first time we will have such an action. Thank you.
In Christ’s love,
Pastor MN
