About Us
Transforming Lives
Support Romania Ministries is dedicated to uplifting and transforming Romania’s communities through a comprehensive service and care approach.
To realize the vision of our mission, we actively seek, educate, and connect with donors both in the US and internationally. Our goal is to strengthen and optimize all five ministry branches, ensuring that each functions at its best to meet the needs of the Romanian people. We believe we can make a significant and lasting impact through collaborative efforts and dedicated support.
Transforming Lives Behind Bars
One of our pastors/missionaries whose ministry we would like to support has had a great heart to redeem those fallen and held behind bars in prison.
He’s been actively involved either alone or with a small group of fellow believers, visiting the inmates in the local prison each Saturday.
Well over 50 inmates regularly attend these weekend meetings and many lives have been changed, Inmates were well baptized and upon release from prison and their return home, they joined local churches and started a new life, serving God.
Written next to this is the English translation of a poem written by an inmate while in prison, whose life had been changed through the power of the Holy Spirit by the pastor mentioned above’s ministry.
This same pastor is also actively involved in reaching out to small village churches in Romania communities located in the nearby vicinity, across the Northern Romania border, namely in Ukraine.
Since it is only about an hour-long drive to those Romanian villages which decades ago used to be part of Romania but nowadays are in the Ukraine, this missionary travels quite often to preach the Gospel in those villages and reach out in various places with the Good News of salvation in the Ukraine, sometimes being translated into Ukrainian by fellow local Christian workers with whom he had established a good working relationship.
Today, the Lord visited me
Author: Ș. E. L.
“In my cell, here in the prison
The gentle Lord lovingly searched my heart
He brought joy to my soul and the heavy chain untied me.
In heavy iron, sin had brought me
In handcuffs tightly bound…
Until the Lord JESUS came and whispered he asked me: –
Don’t you want to be released today?
Don’t you want to escape from the chain of evil?
Don’t you want to live honestly, and cleanly?
Don’t you want Me to be your brother?
A shiver ran through my body;
Crouched, sitting sadly in my bed
I felt like the Holy Spirit had entered my soul.
He had given me eyes to see all my sinful and dirty past,
A past, like an abyss
Then, the Lord wiped my tears and said:
Stop crying! But jump for joy because I came to you…”
