Transform: A Report on Outreach and Impact

One of our pastors/missionaries, deeply committed to supporting those incarcerated, has been tirelessly visiting inmates at a local prison every Saturday. Accompanied by a small group of believers, they have been able to minister to inmates regularly. Through these weekend sessions, numerous lives have been transformed. Many of these inmates, once baptized and released, have integrated into local churches, embarking on new lives devoted to serving God.

Below is the English translation of a poem by an inmate who experienced a profound change in prison due to the ministry of this dedicated pastor through the influence of the Holy Spirit:

Today, the Lord visited me

“In my cell, here in the prison
The gentle Lord lovingly searched my heart
He brought joy to my soul and the heavy chain untied me.
In heavy iron, sin had brought me
In handcuffs tightly bound…
Until the Lord JESUS came and softly whispered to me:
Don’t you want to be released today?
Don’t you want to escape from the chain of evil?
Don’t you want to live honestly and cleanly?
Don’t you want Me to be your brother?
A shiver ran through my body;
Crouched, sitting sadly on my bed
I felt the Holy Spirit enter my soul.
He gave me eyes to see my sinful and filthy past,
A past, like an abyss
Then, the Lord wiped my tears and said:
Stop crying! But jump for joy because I came to you… “
